Robotic process automation

Lazzoni RPA

Automation that takes over repetitive steps in the enterprise processes of Lazzoni, a furniture and interior architecture company.

Part of any enterprise process runs by hand between two systems: information is taken from one place, entered into another, checked, moved on. As the business grows those steps consume the team's time and the chance of error varies from person to person.

At Lazzoni the goal was not to remove those steps but to stop them depending on a person.

No change to existing systems
The systems in place were left alone; the automation took over the manual steps between them, which kept transition risk contained.
Rule-based execution
The same work runs by the same rule every time. The real value of automation is not speed but a repeatable outcome.
Run record
The status and failure reason of every run is recorded, so a stalled process becomes visible instead of silent.
Built for change
Every interface-driven automation is exposed to change. Retry behaviour was designed from the first day.
